CODE Inc. subscribes
to the principles outlined in the United
Nations Global Compact. We adhere to the tenets, and take
special care to actively pursue their fulfillment. Whether going
to India to ensure the eligibility of a supplier’s labour
pool or providing full supervision and quality control during
kit consolidation in Mexico, ethical business practices have been
an integral part of our success.
Among the most important of these conditions,
particularly as it relates to an election, are the confidentiality
clause and the restrictions on advertising. Given the sensitive
nature of elections, we respect these requirements and insist
that our suppliers do the same. A condition attached to all purchase
orders issued by CODE Inc. is the prohibition on divulging information
about, or promoting the nature of our contracts. We take this
obligation very seriously.
The role of CODE Inc. as a procurement agent
requires that our suppliers are held to account and accept responsibility
for the goods and services provided. It is not only the reputation
of the supplier at stake, but also that of CODE Inc. Accepting
responsibility to deliver the goods specified by the client within
the timeframe established is vital. We guarantee the goods and
services we provide, and will replace any and all materials not
up to specification.
We are subject to scrutiny from a number of
sources within the Canadian government and are in full compliance
on all fronts. Our core values and mission statement require integrity
and we have built our business around them, with systems and procedures
to ensure they remain an integral part of our business processes. |
